This guys Rm-z 450 flat tracker went boom. The connecting rod blew out the front of the cases and smashed his motor mount bolt. The pressure was enough to suck the bottom frame rails inward. This just a simple motor job turned into a new frame job as well. Tryed to bed the frame back but the sprockets were not lining up right. This probably could all have been avoided if he just did he simple maintenance and had an hour meter.

almost ten years ago i bought this stock xr50 and built my first custom. I had cut and raked a kx80 frame neck before, jumbled countless bicycles together as a kid, and tricked out my race bikes but this little squirt was my first- save yer money, order parts, make it all fit together and run like hell from the cops bike build. all said and done.. done is never done. stock parts remaining are the rear hub, gas tank and some tranny/cases. the 107cc stroker has raced vegas mini moto several times. pit tootsies it has impressed have been many. I back flipped it a few years ago. it is the only of my bikes to put me under the knife. de-raked and welded the frame twice. it is still winning races.... and crippling me.

I snuck into the mid america motorcycle auction after I crashed up my ribs. Good place to take some pictures and it was interesting to see the high end bikes. some were simple old bikes same as in my shop but nicer. Gt550 tripples, and a 79 GS1000 and some flattrack racers where the only similarities to my shop. I saw people with more money than sense buy bikes they didnt know how to tie down and transport. I just wanted to jump on one of them overpriced steeds and rip donuts and wheelies. painkillers and PBR. ripping and tareing.

My Brother and step dad figured out a good use for my back seats from all my old vans. Its purdy damn neat to see one of the most oldest working tools being used by my family. Draft horses are more than impressive. Think of the roads made and fields cleared and all the other work done by draft horses over the course of time. i finally got a chance to go back home and get workin on the elsinore vintage moto racer extreme project this weekend. from the picture i had before it was hard to tell if this thing was worthwhile or just another old abandoned shitbox. but after just a couple hours of spitshining it became clear that this bike had not been abused. she still has a ways to go before she can officially be deemed as "ripping and tearing," but i did get to swing a leg over and take a white knuckle 5mph ride down the icy driveway. unfortunatey, since my dad is funding this whole project, i can't kidnap the beast and bring it to the 747 garage for some royal treatment, but ill report back the next time i get to criuse down to steamboat for some more pimping and shining.

...shit In the shop.Three years after moving in to my new pad bought for the single reason of having a two car detached garage. with a gas heater hanging from the bare bones rafters. Today, i finnaly completed "finish work" on the shop by insulating the attic. tow years after finshing everything else, filling it with bikes, and running the heater full tilt all winter. no more. not today. its been fucking cold so i took my credit card and bought a shit ton of attic insulation and after loosing more than my temper i was done with the job by 1:30 this afternoon. So, i fired up the heater and enjoyed true warmth like two ferrets fucking in a wool sock, btu, no beenie hat wearin heated shop. I painted the hubs for the underground weapon of Pikes Peak raod racer mayhem and rebuilt the tranny for its '08450R donor motor. This project has me fully crazy.
