custom #1 -50 Nutz

almost ten years ago i bought this stock xr50 and built my first custom. I had cut and raked a kx80 frame neck before, jumbled countless bicycles together as a kid, and tricked out my race bikes but this little squirt was my first- save yer money, order parts, make it all fit together and run like hell from the cops bike build. all said and done.. done is never done. stock parts remaining are the rear hub, gas tank and some tranny/cases. the 107cc stroker has raced vegas mini moto several times. pit tootsies it has impressed have been many. I back flipped it a few years ago. it is the only of my bikes to put me under the knife. de-raked and welded the frame twice. it is still winning races.... and crippling me.

Dusty ass scary shit is one of the reasons i stopped racing worcs. imagine if this happend in the pro/pro2 class! superman can can rag doll fest. bloody fuckin hell!

bikes owned by people owned by money

I snuck into the mid america motorcycle auction after I crashed up my ribs. Good place to take some pictures and it was interesting to see the high end bikes. some were simple old bikes same as in my shop but nicer. Gt550 tripples, and a 79 GS1000 and some flattrack racers where the only similarities to my shop. I saw people with more money than sense buy bikes they didnt know how to tie down and transport. I just wanted to jump on one of them overpriced steeds and rip donuts and wheelies. painkillers and PBR. ripping and tareing.

This year Vegas was a shit ton of fun. So many cool people at this race. from the Reno Wrecking Crew to the FTW crew or chit chatting with Gene at the bar at 3 am.  The concete didnt give me as much hell as last year and the little champ yamaha was a real fun little fucker. ...untill my carb cap came unscrewed and the the two smoker went WFO!
Fun ass weekend! cant wait for another!

I have been watching a bunch of moto GP videos lately and decided if i wanted to be cool i should make a remote starter for my new lil 250. Bump starting in the pits is for the rookie so i better step it up and find a better way to get my little two stroker puffin smoke rings on the pipe. witch brings me to this soon to be aborted project.
